Positively Minnesota at BIO2008
June 16-20, 2008
San Diego, California
Minnesota businesses, service providers, organizations and communities joined Minnesota's "Culture of Innovation" pavilion at BIO2008, the annual conference and exhibition of the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO), the world's largest biotechnology organization.
Minnesota's sustainable "green" pavilion highlighted Minnesota's "Culture of Innovation" from inventions to research. The Minnesota pavilion included sector-specific bio-stations in a "circle of innovation," a presentation area, and a timeline of Minnesota Innovations.
New this year is a special "scholarship" offer to four Minnesota emerging bioscience companies. Emerging companies are encouraged to complete and submit an application for these scholarships (see application form below).
Minnesota pavilion participants reached over 22,000 conference attendees from 68 different countries. Attendees included potential partners, international buyers, contract manufacturers, as well as product and service suppliers.
