Minnesota Trade Programs - Annual Program Summary
Purpose
These programs assist Minnesota companies in effectively responding to global market opportunities.
Customers and Services
Primary customers are new exporters as well as experienced international companies in Minnesota. Export services include counseling and technical assistance from trade representatives with broad international business experience who can help guide companies through the challenges of conducting international business; promotional services such as organizing trade missions, exhibition opportunities at trade shows, and meetings with potential foreign buyers; and education and training, including seminars and workshops in partnership with other organizations.
An International Resource Center, open to the public at the DEED headquarters, is stocked with the latest market intelligence. The www.exportminnesota.com website offers helpful export information online; and other assistance may be obtained via the Trade Assistance Helpline at 651.259.7498. The Minnesota Trade Office also has a focused strategy to enhance the state's relationship with China; the www.minnnesota-china.com website offers more information about the Minnesota - China Partnership.
